This October, as we celebrate ADHD Awareness Month, we reflect on the progress we've made and the work still to be done to support the neurodiverse community. At REACH ADHD, our mission has always been clear: to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to children, teens, university students, and adults living with ADHD. Whether through one-on-one coaching, community programs, or online resources, we are here to empower people across Perth and beyond to thrive.
Understanding and Supporting Neurodiversity
ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental conditions, affecting people of all ages. From children navigating the classroom to university students managing their studies to adults balancing work and family life, ADHD presents unique challenges—and opportunities. At REACH ADHD, we understand that each person's journey with ADHD is different, and our approach is personalised to meet individual needs.
"One of the most rewarding aspects of what we do is seeing the growth in our clients as they develop new strategies to manage ADHD. It’s not just about coping, it’s about thriving," says Fiona, co-founder of REACH ADHD. "We’re here to help individuals and families understand that ADHD is not a limitation, but a different way of experiencing the world."
Expanding Our Reach: Supporting Perth’s North, South, and Online
To ensure that we can support even more individuals and families in Perth, we are excited to welcome Romney to the REACH ADHD team. With her background in ADHD coaching, Romney brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, allowing us to expand our services across Perth, both north and south of the river. We also continue to offer online coaching, making our services accessible to those outside of Perth and even across Australia.
"Our goal has always been to create a supportive, accessible community for anyone affected by ADHD," says Debbie, co-founder of REACH ADHD. "With Romney joining the team, we can expand our reach and continue offering the compassionate, practical support that has made REACH what it is today."
Supporting All Ages
At REACH ADHD, we are proud to support individuals at every stage of life.
Children: We offer specialised coaching to help children develop important executive functioning skills, such as time management, emotional regulation, and organisation. Our approach helps children build confidence and succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Teens: Adolescence can be a challenging time for those with ADHD. Through our coaching, we help teens manage the transition to high school, develop independence, and prepare for future academic or career paths.
University Students: University students with ADHD often face unique challenges, such as managing deadlines and navigating self-directed learning. At REACH ADHD, we provide targeted strategies to help students thrive in this new environment, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
Adults: ADHD doesn’t disappear with age. Many adults continue to face challenges in managing their careers, relationships, and personal goals. Our coaching for adults helps them develop the tools to manage their ADHD and live fulfilling balanced lives.
